- Linguine with Tomato Sauce: You can prepare linguine pasta using the die that comes with the pasta maker. Till the time your appliance the pasta is prepared by the appliance, you can chop the tomatoes coarsely. In a large saucepan, heat a little oil and add some garlic and sauté it for 30 seconds. Now add the chopped tomatoes, salt and pepper powder to taste. Simmer it and keep stirring in between. It will take around 40-45 minutes for the sauce to thicken. When you feel that in next 10-12 min the sauce will be ready, boil the linguine al dente. Drain and add to the sauce, add some fresh basil and give it a toss. Grate some cheese over it and this simple but delicious dish is ready to serve.
- Tagliatelle with Mushrooms: This is a quick fix recipe. Once you make your Tagliatelle using the Kent pasta maker, shake them loose so that the strands don’t stick together. It would be better still if you toss them with some semolina flour. Bring a large stockpot of salted water to a rolling boil on one stove and on the other heat some olive oil in a skillet. Add the coarsely diced mushrooms to it and cook until softened. Season them with salt, black pepper and add mint and butter. Cook for few minutes and remove from the heat. Add pasta to the salted water and cook it until al dente, strain and add to mushrooms. Add grated cheese and give a good toss to coat the pasta with the sauce you prepared. Sprinkle little freshly ground black pepper and pecorino as a garnish and serve.
- Hilopittes: For the non-veg lovers, this Greek style flat noodle with a rustic meat sauce is a perfect dish. First, start preparing the meat sauce by heating some butter in a saucepan and sauté onion, carrot and celery in it. Once it is soft, add some ground beef and cook for around 15 minutes stirring in between. Add some wine, tomato juice, salt and pepper and cover it to cook for about an hour on low flame. When the sauce is about to cook, make some flat noodles in the pasta maker. Meanwhile, boil a pot of salted water. Add noodles to the boiling water and cook.
